Evetta is a very special horse who will always have a place in our hearts . She was purchased as an 8 year old that had only just been broken in. Because of this
she was not always easy. But Evetta had great courage and trusted us completely. Her unique eyecatching movement turned many heads.
Evetta was successfully show under saddle winning many Supreme's and Champions. At the 1992 Royal Melbourne Show she won her Novice Saddle Pony class & was 2nd in the Open. At the1994 Royal Melbourne Show she won the Child's Saddle Pony & was once again 2nd in the Open. Evetta was a finalist at the 1994 National Riding Pony of the Year and a made the Top 15 at Barastoc Horse of the Year in 1995 prior to retiring to stud.

Maggie was also very successful both under saddle and in hand, winning many Champions and Supreme's. In 1994 she was awarded Reserve Champion Saddle Galloway at both Hobart and Launceston Royals. She was purchased by Castleglen Stud to be a future broodmare but unfortunately only produced one foal for us. Maggie has since been sold and will continue her saddle career. She has the most beautiful movement and placid nature.
Vale Maggie. On Dec 24 2003 Maggie suffered a twisted bowel and had to be put down. Condolences to the Hicks family who were understandably completely devastated by the loss of such a lovely kind mare.

She is the dam of Castleglen Mayfair who won 2 Supreme Champions the first time she was shown. Fiona produced 3 lovely fillies for Castleglen Stud prior to being sold in 2000.
