CASTLEGLEN ROYAL DESTINY WINS AT 2005 NATIONAL RIDING PONY OF THE YEAR

We were delighted when Ricky won the National Ridden Newcomer title and then went on to win the National Ridden Show Pony as well.

This just capped off a fantastc newcomer season.

2005 VASA Horse of the Year - Runner Up First Season Large Pony and Top Ten Open Large Saddle Pony (from over 80 entries)

2005 Melb Summer Royal - 2nd Ridden RP Newcomer

2005 Hidden Valley Equestrian Championships - Runner Up Novice Large Pony

2005 National Riding Pony of the year - National Ridden Newcomer and National Ridden Show Pony.

Congratulations to the Tandy family on a fantastic season with Castleglen Geneva.

Some of their major wins include

2004 NSW Intermediate Small Pony of the Year

2004 Sydney Royal Show - 4th Ridden Novice Pony

and 7th Ridden Open Pony

2004 National Riding Pony of the Year - Finalist in both Ridden and Led under 12.2hh classes.

Geneva is now home and in foal to Royalwood Boy Soprano. We eagerly await this bundle of cuteness that will have attitude to burn.

CASTLEGLEN TIGER LILY HAS SUCCESS

AT THE 2004 ADELAIDE ROYAL SHOW

Lily's first Adelaide was successful with getting a first call in the Novice Saddle Pony 13-13.2hh class, after a bit of a hiccup in the workout she finished in 6th place.

She also paired up with Kirreway Beaumont to once again have a first call and eventually end up placed 4th.

She was an absolute delight to show

At the 2006 EFA Victorian State Show Horse Titles Ricky was awarded Runner-Up Large Saddle Pony, which qualified him to compete at the EFA Nationals later this year.

Wow what an achievement !!!!!

*What a terrific first royal season,

Ricky behaved himself impeccably

in some pretty typical scary royal show situations.

Hopefully next season will see

my 9 year old niece Hayley Fairless riding

him in some classes at the royals.

Lily was shown by my 9 year old niece Hayley Fairless this season and together they have formed a great combination. Hayley placed 3rd in her riding at 2005 Melbourne Royal Show.

Then at the 2006 Canberra Royal Show she won her Pony Club Girl Rider class and was awarded Reserve Champion Pony Club Girl Rider under 13 years. Hayley also placed 4th in her riding and paired up with Paige Carroll to place 3rd in the Pair of Riders and 4th in the Pair of Ponies.

We were so proud of Lily when she didn't bat and eyelid and safely carried Hayley through the mayhem at this years Melbourne Royal Show. What a fantastic child's pony she has turned out to be.
